P2POn May 9, community leaders and business owners from rural communities across the state will meet to discuss ways they can help support career pathways for rural youth while meeting the community's workforce needs.  join in the local discussion on what skills the youth in your community will need to be successful in life? What skills are you as an employer looking for? Businesses need talent to fill open positions in fields such as manufacturing, office administration, purchasing and supply chain management, health care and information technology.  

Join with over 20 rural communities in the  virtual Rural Pathways to Prosperity Conference  that will takes place on May 9th from 9:00 AM to 12 noon.  The event includes a keynote address by Brent Parton, Deputy Director for the nationally recognized Center on Education and Skills, as well as a statewide outlook by Chris Reykdal, Superintendent of Public Instruction.  Registration is free.  Sign up at : WAruralpropperity.wsu.edu
