Join your colleagues on a Zoom meeting to hear and share Chamber social media best practices.  LaConnor Chamber Executive Director Heather Carter will kick-off the discussion sharing her experiences and successes utilizing Instagram. 

Heather is a true Washingtonian! Growing up in the small suburb of Shoreline, WA, Heather’s family didn’t veer far from the nest (my grandparents lived right around the corner) so when she got married and moved north to Stanwood, it was as though she had flown the coop! After college, Heather became a travel agent during the worst possible time – the onset of online travel sites made her adjust the career path.  She started her own event planning company and that led to corporate event planning with businesses like Macy’s and Wizards of the Coast. The commute became insane and Heather wanted to work in and for the community she lived; that brought her to the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau and eventually the La Conner Chamber of Commerce. Heather loves promoting the waterfront “Tiny Town” and she really does #LoveLaConner!
