WCCE is an association of chamber of commerce executives and staff professionals with membership of more than 100 chambers from across the state of Washington. The association was founded in 1955 to support chamber executives and staff by focusing on professional skills development.
Marie Dymkoski has been with the Pullman Chamber since 2007, joining the staff as their Office Manager. She was promoted to Assistant Director in 2009 and to Executive Director in 2010 upon the retirement of Fritz Hughes. Under Dymkoski’s helm, the Pullman Chamber has provided leadership with the regional collaboration of the Town Gown Collaborative and Pullman 2040 Visioning
“During her years of involvement with WCCE, Marie has shown a can-do attitude when it comes to providing Chamber Executives around the state with first class professional development opportunities,” said Bob Green, CEO of WCCE. Dymkoski added, “From the first WCCE conference I attended, I knew that the professional development from WCCE was absolutely necessary for my success in the Chamber. What I didn’t completely understand at the time was how my peers were as much a part of my success. I continue to learn so much from them!”
Dymkoski’s term as Board Chair will conclude at the 2018 WCCE Annual Statewide Conference being held in Pullman on October 15-17. When asked about Dymkoski’s involvement as WCCE Board Chair and hosting of the conference, Tony Poston, Pullman Chamber Board Chair, responded, “We're extremely excited Marie and Pullman were given the opportunity to host this event in Pullman. I have no doubt that the Chamber teams from around Washington will be welcomed to the Palouse, and our businesses, community, and facilities will shine.”
